2021年告一段落，虎虎生威的2022年已经开启。梳理过去一年的感受、思考、创造，感谢与海惠同行的伙伴是重要的事。

海惠2021年团建 在羌寨晒太阳的伙伴们

比起以往每一年的“年终总结热情”，2021年的年尾并没有那么热闹。各大平台的总结报告早已经出炉，大家的朋友圈却显得兴致缺缺。 绿码、核酸、口罩，已经成为我们的日常装扮。因为疫情，人们进行面对面创造与交流的机会变少，这对于从事“助人工作”（需要到一线去）的我们来说是一个很巨大的挑战。每一个“安全”的空挡，都被我们精心计划进工作列表。

It’s been almost two years since the outbreak of COVID-19, and it has changed our world in a tremendous way. Green health code, nucleic acid testing, masks have become quite acquainted to people’ life, and since COVID-19 is super contagious, it made work harder for our front-line staff to actually meet and talk to our beneficiaries, understanding their difficulties and needs, offering possible assistance. In order to do this, we had to squeeze every activities and/or events into “safe slots,” but somehow, we managed to pull them off!

回望2021年，海惠在河北、辽宁、山东、安徽、湖北、湖南、重庆、四川、广东、新疆、河南等11个省市自治区实施了36个项目，帮助了43081户农户，并获得了一致好评。

在城市，我们也创造了属于自己的品牌系列活动“正在发生”，也准备上线播客内容，期待让更多公众理解公益机构在乡村的创造，以及因为这些创造而带给乡村的改变。

现场的观众说：“原来你们在乡村做了这么多实际有效的事情啊！”

During 2021, Haihui conducted 36 projects in 11 provinces and/or autonomous regions in China, helped 43081 households to achieve better life. To introduce what Haihui has been doing in rural areas, we launched a branding activity called “Happening Now” to bring our work closer to people who does not have many chance to visit rural areas and see the changes by themselves; we are also preparing our own broadcast so that people can hear more deep conversations and discussions about rural communities, and also what is nonprofit, what can nonprofit do and etc.

“没想到这么快，一年又过去了”，在2021年，这句感叹变得尤为沉重。

回望时看见大雾重重，便觉得更要感谢与海惠一起携手度过的伙伴们。持续支持我们的企业、慈善基金会、志愿者伙伴、项目受益人。以及在这其中，持续行动的，海惠的各位同事。

在今年的年终总结里，我们想把目光放在并肩前行的伙伴身上。也想以更加轻松的笔触，把可爱、鲜活、专业的公益机构及公益人形象分享给大家。

Do not know if you share the same feeling, but to us, time do fly! Although things been much more better than 2020, it does not mean things are easier. Therefore, we would like to take this chance to express our appreciations to those who have been there with Haihui, our staff, partners, and supporters!

反正就是想“一年一度，王婆卖瓜”了，必须夸夸我们机构，和我的同事们！（大声！）也欢迎年轻同事把这篇文章作为春节应对“你到底在做啥子”的答卷。

从海惠的团建活动说起

Annual (Performing) Gala? Nah, how about some hardcore knowledge?

别人的年终是年会被迫表演辣眼睛舞蹈，海惠的年终是old school风格的内部交流、集体学习、嗨耍。

If you are tired of assigned dances and signings, probably you will find it unique that here at Haihui, our team-building is more like a group session for us to grow and learn.

内部交流主要就是技术唠嗑。

It’s all about how to get things done.

你的职场，有人在乎你的感受和创造吗？

Do people at your work care about your feeling and creativity?

员工会上，同事们分享自己的创造与思考。

海惠项目多，且分散在全国各地，项目组的同事经常都是准备出差或正在出差的路上。每月的员工会，总有一些伙伴是在线上参加的，所以我们很珍惜每一次见面的机会。年底的这次员工会，终于大家都聚拢到一个屋子里，分享这一年自己的创造。

For program staff at a small-sized nonprofit that only has around 20 people and has 36 projects all over the country, they are always en route. Therefore, it is really hard to us to get everyone in the same room and to share and connect, and our annual staff meeting was one of the few chances that we get to really greet and meet each other, and celebrate our growth and success.

我们看重交流。对于公益机构来说，每个部门不是铁板一块，各管各的就可以了。一个项目，前期从筹款到项目执行落地，后期到项目宣传和财务审核，都是多个部门紧密协作完成的。

We value communication a lot. For us, even though we have different departments in charges of various things, we are never separated. It takes great efforts and collaborations to keep each departments on the same page, to truly get 1 project from paper to ground.

在总结会上，负责品牌宣传的同事说：“每一次和项目部的同事到一线出差，都会觉得我们是并肩作战的同事，我们都在努力让公益事业变得更真实，更有价值”，台下立马有好几位同事呼应：“我们也觉得你是我们并肩作战的同事！”

At the sharing, our branding colleague said, she enjoyed having business trips with projects staff, they made she feel down-to-the-earth and had a strong sense of teamwork; more importantly, they also made nonprofit career more tangible and valuable. “We also think you are in this ‘fight’ with us too, you are truly a trustworthy companion!” Our project staff replied her sharing immediately.

新到岗的行政同事伊伊是一位看起来腼腆的女孩，她之前都在商业地产工作，这份新工作给了她更多看世界的视角。“第一次感受到这样的工作氛围，也对公益有了很多新的理解，觉得很开心。”

This year, we also had a new hire at admin office. Yiyi seems to be a shy girl, and had her previous work experience in commercial real estate, therefore, this Haihui perspective is brand-new to her: “It’s my first time working at a nonprofit, and it definitely helps me understand what is charity, and I feel happy to be part of Haihui!”

妈妈，我小时候的组团打怪中二梦想实现了！

See, yes we are all independent human being, but we also have people that can fight with me!

集体学习搞什么？

洗脑式的培训课我们可不喜欢啊！

Hard no to brainwashing type of training.

助人者的工作不那么简单。有时候我们会被拒绝，有时候我们也会犹豫：“我真的帮助到对方了吗？” 所以，持续的学习很重要，我们需要更理解自己的力量，也需要有接受“失败”的心态。

Part of nonprofit’s job is to offer assistance to those who might need it, and that is why sometimes we define ourselves as “Helpers.” However, it is not easy to be a helper. Sometimes, we were rejected by others, and we also need to face this self-doubt and hesitation of “Can i really help? Did I really help?” Therefore, it is necessary to always remain humble and has willing to learn, and also understand our own strength and weakness, and get prepared for “losing”.

除了学习专业知识，我们也要学习“耍耍”知识。今年的团建是大家伙一起滑雪、泡温泉。没有集体安排，大家自由选择跟着教练或者自己玩。同事佳佳是第一次滑雪，在上滑道之前还紧张得很，不到半个小时就开始自信玩耍，甚至想要征服中级滑道。

Besides work-related skills and knowledge, we also think it is important for people to find happiness in life. This time, we were able to step outside of office, and go out there enjoy the many gifts mother nature, visiting hot springs, and skiing. It was her very first time to try skii, Jiajia was super nervous about it. But she managed to use the skills given by coach, and started her skiing journey, and she even wished to try the intermediate slope to see where is her limits.

每一次看到同事在集体里找到“崭新的自己”，我就更加喜爱我的工作环境。

It was always pleasure to see people were discovering something new about themselves through interactions with others, and also grateful for an benign work environment to make it happen!

要回家过年了，又要面对亲戚们的提问：“幺女，你到底是在做啥子哇？”作为一个不那么主流的行业，大家反复地述说是很重要的。

For those who choose nonprofit as a career, one questions is inevitable: what do you do exactly? With the approaching of Lunar New Year, we see it coming, and we know it is important for those who are in this business to keep telling people what nonprofit does until it’s truly heard by general public.

钱从哪儿来？

Where does money come from?

公益机构是专业的执行团队，我们的行动经费来自于企业捐款和公众筹款，我们所执行的项目来自于我们的长期走访及调研。

公益机构也需要拿着企划书参与“竞标”，我们也需要让资方知道：为什么要关注这个问题，我们要这样做，为什么需要我们来做，即将发生的改变是什么。

To some degree, nonprofits are like professional “contractors,” most of us heavily rely on the donation of businesses and public, and we design and deliver projects based on our long term researches, field trips, and understanding of local communities. Like commercial competitions, nonprofits also need to “bid” for projects and funding, and we need to try really hard to our funding sources to know: what is the topic/issue, why we choose it, how we are gonna do about it, and what are the possible changes we can make.

我们的工作和世界上所有的工作一样，都需要解决问题。公益机构还有一个更重要的作用：“提出问题”，因为我们要看见他人的困境。

Like many, if not all, the jobs in the world, we need to “fix” things. To us, we think there is another major function of nonprofit professional, that is “raising the issue,” so that we can see people’s struggle and difficulties and provide needed assistance.

海惠从创立以来，就一直扎根在乡村。在凉山的人才发展及产业发展项目甚至已经有十几年的历史，我的同事宋海兵作为一个都江堰人，已经可以用彝语和当地人进行交流。

Since the establishment of Haihui, we have been dive deep into rural communities. For example, Haihui has been working in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture for over ten years, one of Haihui colleagues, Haibing Song, as an outsiders of local ethnic community, has learned Yi language and can use it to communicate with local people already, thanks to a great amount of time spending with local residents.

2021年，海惠以乡村振兴为切入点，因地制宜，从不同维度支持不同地区的人才发展、产业发展、社区发展。

During 2021, Haihui continues to serve a large population of rural areas, designed and developed various projected in talents, industry, and community development based on local needs. (Kindly click those links below to learn more about our project stories.)

海惠团队学科背景丰富，人文社科、艺术、金融、工科、农牧等。这也让我们在工作时，得以看到不同学科面对社会议题时的视角和行动。最终，这个团队将以更加职业和专业的姿态去执行公益项目。

One thing we do like a lot about our team is our diversity, our colleagues all come from different backgrounds and majors, this greatly helped us to have a diverse perspective when we are talking about one specific issue. As a result, it enabled our team to design and execute projects in a more professional, sustainable, and humane way.
